SO THE DALLAS COWBOYS HAVE RECENTLY BECOME 2009 NFC EAST CHAMPIONS! FOR ALL YOU THAT SAY THE "EAGLES GAVE THE COWBOYS THE WIN." SUCK IT UP AND ADMIT THAT DALLAS IS JUST BETTER. ROMO HAS MORE PASSING YARDS AND TD'S THE MCNABB... OH AND LESS INTERCEPTIONS! MILES AUSTIN HAS MORE RECEIVING YARDS THEN DESEAN JACKSON. AND DALLAS AS A MUCH BETTER DEFENCE... DEMARCUS WARE, COLOMBO, ETC. SO EAGLES FANS... LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR... YOUR TEAM DIDN'T GIVE UP..... THEY LOST TO A MUCH BETTER OVERALL TEAM.

Shopping on Black Friday

One of the very best parts about Thanksgiving break is going out shopping on Black Friday. I don't know or even understand why I find it fun to stand in freezing cold weather with hundreds of other people just to get a toy that is 10 dollars off. In years past I have found myself running through the store trying to reach those sale items before the other customers. This year, however, I decided to take a much different approach. Walmart, yes the store where a worker was trampled to death last year, opened at five this morning. Instead of waiting in line for an hour I slept in a little longer and went at 5:30. I must say that Walmart, at least the store I went to, did an excellent job! With the store map I was able to find my items easily and surprisingly enough they still had what I needed to get. The checkout lines at Walmart today were also a nice and welcoming surprise! Carrie and I waited only 10 minutes to make it though the line!!

I love the day after thanksgiving!! Shopping, movie and setting up the tree with my wonderful husband!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well it is that day again... the day when you get to eat anything you want and not worry that people think you are eating to much. Ahhh! Hurray for the possible 4000 calories I ate today. No I didn't count but with all the pie, gravy and mashed potatoes I was bound to eat more then I should.

Ben and I are so greatful for so many things. So many people around the world do not have even a quarter of what we have. Sometimes I gripe about not being rich... not being able to go out and spend what ever I want on what ever I want; but when I stop to think about how much I really do have it puts everything into perspective.

Our First Blog

Well, we now have a blog..... huh... but what to write? I guess we will start with what we love. Go COWBOYS!! Go JAZZ!!

Currently Ben is working at Lowe's and planning to go to BATC starting January 4th!! He will be starting in the IT program working full time and doing 20 hours a week at school.
Holly is working at a daycare called patchwork playhouse. I know... I know another daycare... when will it end? Thankfully she is going to continue her schooling at Utah State University starting on January 11th!
We will be a very busy family!
